Welcome to Sara Said; the blogging home of Sara Martin. Sara is my muse, my soul mate and my favourite person. If you have had the good fortune to meet her you probably care about her a great deal as well… she has that way about her. Sara Said is a site that I, Sara's husband, created to give her a place of her own where she can choose to savor the release of venting or sharing the awesomeness of her days. So, without further adieu, welcome!

…you have to break out your maternity jeans because nothing fits you properly. And you are not pregnant. And your child is a year old.

Yup, its a sad, sad day. Needless to say I am back to measuring and weighing and counting points. I like to say that WeightWatchers is a lifestyle change, not a diet but it is KIND OF a diet. So far, it is the the only thing that has worked.  I think its because the human mind is terrible at estimating calories, or in this case, points.  When I first went off WeightWatchers, the first week or so was okay. I think I really did have 1 point worth of creamer in my coffee and eat 4 points worth of cereal. Soon though, your brain starts to lie to you. Oh sure, that cupcake is only 4 points. That half a bottle of wine was really only 5 points. And all of a sudden you start to lose track. How many points per day again? And then you are way off track. And you are back in your maternity jeans.
